Who would consider a holiday on the atlantic coast of northwest Scotland in October?
Someone who's crazy about dramatic light and stunning scenery, that's who!
And my wife Liz and I definitely fall into that catergory, which is why were were to be found braving the gale force winds and driving rain in Aultgrishan, perched on a cliff overlooking the Atlantic ocean with the mountains of Skye over on the western horizon, in our AirBnB.
And inbetween the rain we saw what we travelled all this way to see, beautiful scenery bathed in glorious storm lighting.
Such as this view from our front garden, caught in this time lapse video as sunbeams stream across the ocean and mountains.
Wild and magnificent!
