This is the second in a series of four time lapse videos featuring the dramatic weather out over the Atlantic ocean and the mountains of the Isle of Skye, as witnessed from Aultgrishan in Wester Ross on the northwest coast of Scotland.
In this particular sequence I was treated to an approaching rainstorm as clouds raced towards me from the far horizon on a stiff westerly breeze.
And with it being October that breeze had some bite to it!
Still, with my wife Liz and I having travelled a long way from our home in north Wales to get here, I wasn't going to let a little cold deter me from capturing the magnificent weather.
Mind you, when that rain reached me, I did just grab my cmaera and tripod and dashed back to the cover of our AirBnB.
There is a limit to what I'll put up with to capture a time lapse!
