A two week holiday spent exploring the beautiful scenery of Northern Ireland, with occasional forays over the border into the Republic, found my wife Liz and I along the coastline of Carlingford Lough under skies punctuated with alternating bursts of sunshine and rain.
The views under these lighting conditions were just stunning, with patches of sunlight and shadow playing over the surrounding hills and foreshore.
So it comes as no surprise that I spent a disproportionate amount of time shooting time lapse videos at the various viewpoints we stopped at.
This is the first of a series of five such videos, filmed around Carlingford Lough, and the location for this view was the beach at Cranfield, right at the end of the lough and the start of the Irish Sea, looking towards the rolling hills of the Republic on the far shore.
