A rare spell of clear weather in early spring 2022 gave me a great opportunity to take a ten minute drive to the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near my home in Northeast Wales, to watch and film early in the morning as a full moon set over the slopes of Moel Famau, the highest peak in the Clwydian Range.
In all I spent around an hour in the chilly breeze on top of the limestone escarpment at Loggerheads Country Park as the sky slowly lightened and my camera clicked away, capturing the hundreds of still images needed to create this time lapse video.
And then it was a lovely walk back through the woods, surrounded by the sights, sounds and smells of the natural world coming back to life after its long winter's sleep.
What a wonderful way to start the day, immersed in the beauty and wonder of God's creation in one of the loveliest places on earth.
