I'm really blessed to live right next to the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in North Wales, so whenever the fancy takes me I can jump in the car and in ten minutes I'm looking at stunning views out over the welsh countryside.
Which is just what I did on this particular afternoon in early March 2022.
With a clear sky close to sunset I climbed up the limestone escarpment at the Loggerheads Country Park and set up my camera to catch the sunset out over the hills of the Clywdian Range to the west.
Clear skies in this part of the world are a rarity, so I quickly set my camera off recording the hundreds of still images needed to create this time lapse, using an unusually snall aperture to give me a slight starburst effect around the sun.
All too soon the show was over, as the sun sank majestically behind a row of trees on the far skyline, and it was time for the lovely walk back through the woods to my car for the short drive back home.
