Time lapse video of a beautiful sunset at Dinas Dinlle, North Wales #2

The story behind this video

The opportunity to spend a couple of days on the North Wales coast, in a friend's caravan at Dinas Dinlle, was too good to pass by.

Especially as the weather forecast was unusually favourable for this part of the world at the end of March.

And so it proved to be, with my wife Liz and I stationed on the huge beach on our first evening here, watching as the sun slowly sank towards the western horizon out over the Irish Sea.

With the tide out, the acres of wet sand at our feet picked up the glowing colours from the skies above, and with a band of light clouds stretched out over out heads, picking up kisses of light from the setting sun, the scene was set for a beautiful half hour or so.

But, of course, I wasn't content just to sit and watch, as I wanted to record the beauty of the moment in this time lapse video, so I (and others) could look back and be reminded of this wonderful combination of location and light when the weather is less inviting!

And I'm glad I did, as I get a lot of pleasure re-watching this time lapse video and remembering a special time with my wife Liz in this amazing place.
