A beautiful evening spent by the banks of the river Mersey at Seacombe ferry terminal, looking out across the water at the famous Liverpool skyline.
As the sun set behind me I started to video the scene, hoping to capture the transition from day to night over this wonderful view.
And I wasn't disappointed, as the glass clad facades of the modern sykscapers glowed with a golden light, reflecting the twilight sky, while the artifical lights on the eminently recogniseable Liver Building slowly shone brighter and brighter against the gathering darkness.
And just to add the final touch to the evening's enjoyment, the iconic Mersey Ferry sailed along the Liverpool waterfront, heading out up the estuary.
You can't get more Liverpool than that!
