A beautiful day of mixed cloud and sunshine found my wife Liz and I driving around the wonderful scenery of the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales.
In an area redolent with stunning views it's hard to know where to stop next to take in the fresh air and enjoy the play of sunlight and shadow over the landscape.
But a favourite viewpoint of mine is this one, overlooking the Nant Gwynant valley and Llyn Gwynant at the foot of Snowdon on the road down from Capel Curig to Beddgelert.
And so we spent a happy half hour parked up in a convenient layby, munching on pizza as my camera clicked away capturing the hundreds of still images needed to create just these few seconds of time lapse video as clouds boiled over the lake and hills below, which were bathed in moving patches of sunlight and shadow.
And then it was on to the next beautiful location in this wondeful part of God's creation!
