Driving through the Snowdonia National Park in north Wales, on our way to a couple of days by the sea at Dinas Dinlle, my wife Liz and I took our time, stopping off to enjoy some of the many beautiful views along the way.
And of the many lakes in the park, one of the most lovely is Llyn Gwynant, nestled in the Nant Gwynant valley at the foot of Snowdon.
With dramatic skies overhead, punctuated with summer cumulus clouds boiling off the high mountains, the shoreline of Llyn Gwynant was a perfect spot to stop for a bite to eat and shoot a fifteen second time lapse sequence featuring patches of sunlight and shadow chasing each other across the landscape.
And all too soon it was time to move on again, but that was no real hardship, with more wonderful scenery to come on our journey to the coast.
