The Snowdonia National Park in North Wales is a wonderland of mountains, forests, lakes, waterfalls and lively weather.
Which is why you'll find my wife Liz and I exploring its beautiful scenery on a very regular basis from our home just an hour's drive away.
But no matter how many times we view the same landscapes, what we actually see is never the same twice.
With the changing seasons, and especially the changeable weather, we're treated to a fresh experience every time we visit.
And, of course, the livelier the weather, the happier I am as an outdoor photographer!
So here we are in the summer of 2023, parked up by the waters of Llyn Ogwen, watching entranced as patches of sunlight and shadow race across the undulating landscape of the Carneddau range as summer cumulus clouds form and re-form over the high ground, blown along by the westerly breeze.
So naturally, I can't let such loveliness escape being captured on a time lapse video, so my camera is set up and busy clicking away at the hundereds of still images needed to create just a few seconds of 30fps video.
And then it's on, round the next bend, to see what other sensory delights are in store for us this time around in this stunning part of th world.
