My wife Liz discovered a prime spot for photography on her weekly commute (now a long time ago) to Rhyl, on the North Wales coast, to teach english to foreign students.
A shortcut took her along narrow country roads, through the tiny village of Gwaenysgor and past this car park, with an amazing view overlooking Prestatyn and westwards along the highly developed stretch of coastline.
Fortunately for me she has a great memory, so when I was looking for a fresh viewpoint on the North Wales coast she directed me up to this spot.
To say I was blown away would be an understatement!
And with the sun about to set I quickly set up my camera to record this time lapse video, as day faded into night and the bright lights of Prestatyn became more and more prominent.
But not only did the town show up brilliantly as darkness fell, the lights of the Gwynt-y-Môr offshore wind turbines started to glow red along the horizon, out in Colwyn Bay.
Now that's what I call a result, and no doubt we'll be back to this spot on future occasions to catch the light over this wonderful stretch of coast.
