The first day of the winter break on Tenerife in the Canary Islands that my wife Liz and I had been looking forward to ever since the start of the covid pandemic, and a nice sunset was developing over the coastline next to our resort.
So we postponed the unpacking and headed down to the promenade and found a suitable vantage point from which to catch the sunset, out over the Atlantic Ocean with a conveniently placed marina providing a nice collection of yacht masts in silhouette to set against the glowing skies.
So we spent a very pleasant hour or so, basking in the warm air while I captured the hundreds of still images needed to create this time lapse video.
It had been a long time since I'd been able to photograph a sunset dressed in T shirt and shorts!
