Some of the loveliest countryside in the UK is to be found in the magnificent Lake District.
And amongst so many stunning locations it's hard to pick a favourite.
So to overcome this dilemma my wife Liz and I have many favourite places that we re-visit every time we spend some time in this special part of the world, along with new views and vistas that we seek out to explore.
This time lapse video features a new view of an old friend, Ullswater, to the north of the much better known and heavily developed Windermere.
Encompassed by high peaks, including the stately Helvellyn, Ullswater lake is a wild place with only a few outcroppings of civilisation around its perimeter.
And that suited Liz and I just fine, as we sat by the side of the lake watching and filming as summer cumulus clouds formed, decayed and re-formed over the surrounding mountains while a gentle breeze ruffled the waters below.
We had planned to drive on after a few minutes but in the end we were so entranced by this view of Ullswater that we stayed for an hour or so, revelling in the peaceful beauty that encompassed us in this prime example of God's creation.
