Shafts of sunlight beam across the undulating landscape of the Vale of Clwyd in North Wales, bathing farms and fields in a golden glow as the sun finds a small gap in the clouds as it makes its way inexorably towards the far western horizon.
And once again I'm at one of my favourite sunset spots on the slopes of Moel Famau, the highest peak in the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, just a fifteen minute drive from my home.
You may wonder why I keep coming back to the same spot time after time, shooting time lapse videos of the same landscape.
Well that's one of the wonders of outdoor photography, as although the landscape doesn't change much over the years, the light and the weather conditions change on a minute by minute basis, especially here in North Wales.
So every time my wife Liz and I park up here to watch and film the sunset it's a fresh view, never seen before and never to be repeated.
So of course we'll keep on coming back, who wouldn't, living in such a beautiful part of the world!
