Love 'em or loathe 'em, the offshore turbines of the Gwynt-y-Môr windfarm make a striking addition to the view out over the Irish Sea from the North Wales coast.
In fact, the turbines aren't the only addition to the skyline in Colwyn Bay, as there's also a gas platform, servicing the Douglas field, further out to sea.
The hour just after sunset is a great time to view the structures, as the warm light of dusk slowly fades away and the lights of the turbines and gas platform become more prominent against the orange sky.
Which is why I created this short time lapse video, featuring this curious, but lovely, juxtaposition of energy sources.
