The story behind this image

A cold, windy, cloudy Sunday evening at Abersoch on Wales' Llyn Peninsula found my wife Liz and I bundled up in every stitch of clothing we possessed as we walked the beach at Hell's Mouth.

The tide was going out and the large expanse of flat, wet sand was reflecting the changing skies above as the sun dipped towards the horizon. At least, I think it did as we couldn't see it!

Anyhow, our cold seaside vigil was rewarded with some dramatic reflections, with this one being the last photo taken in the best light.

Having got thoroughly chilled it was back to a cold tent for the night.

I never did like camping.
