The beach and dune system at Talacre, on the North Wales coast, is a site of special scientific interest, hosting rare flora and fauna, including the Natterjack toad.
To help encourage the growth of grasses, various sections of the dunes are fenced off to limit access and thus prevent erosion.
These fences make for wonderful photographic opportunities, as they rapidly decay under the action of wind and weather to the state shown in this image.
Add a dramtic sky and blowing grass on the dunes as a background and you have an image that is wonderfully evocative of the British seaside at its best.
