Walking on the beach at Bedruthan Steps on the North Cornish coast is a surreal experience to say the least.
With the tide going out you stroll on pristine yellow sand while all around you are huge lumps of rock sticking up out of rock pools filled with the most beautifully coloured water in various hues of green.
The sky even brightened up a bit while Liz and I were down there, and if you look closely you can see Liz at the base of one of the enormous rock fingers, just to give a sense of scale to the whole experience.
What a location! I'm very glad we made the effort to come here and I'd certainly re-visit Bedruthan Steps next time we visit Cornwall.
