The habour at Ballintoy on Northern Ireland's Antrim coast is one of those hidden gems of places that are a delight to find when you're of on a holiday expedition.
The place just reeks of quaintness (is there such a word?) and history. So much so in fact, that, according to the information board, this location was used in the filming of the 'Game of Thrones' TV adaptation.
However, I found it quite difficult to get a decent photo of the place, as from whatever angle I viewed it there was always some modern distraction or other in the background.
After a dozen or so attempts I finally settled on this composition, focusing on the colourful fishing boat moored in the harbour and excluding any non-appropriate details from the background.
I'd like to re-visit this area in winter when there's not so much tourist activity. I'd bet I could get a better overall image then.
