Dripping with colour in late spring, the National Trust owned Bodnant Gardens, near Conway in North Wales is a sensory delight and, of course, full of photographic potential.
What I particularly like about Bodnant is the sympathetic way the buildings and gardens are arranged to visually compliment each other, with neither jarring against the other, as expressed here looking up from the lily pond to the stately home.
Mind you, a few open water lily flowers would have been nice in the foreground, but we were a couple of weeks too early for those.
