With the first snowfall of winter gracing the high peaks of Snowdonia, Liz and I spent a day in early December driving round and photographing in this visual wonderland.
As the day drew to a close we headed over the Menai Straits onto the Isle of Anglesey to watch the sunset and dusk overlooking Thomas Telford's iconic suspension bridge.
With snow capped mountains in the background and evening clouds boiling over the peaks I was in the perfect spot to shoot hundreds of still images for a time lapse video showing the onset of night over the Straits.
After finishing the shoot for the time lapse video I just couldn't tear myself away without one last photograph, resetting the camera for a long exposure to blur the waters of the Straits and thus enhance the reflection of the illuminated bridge in the waters below.

Filters - Neutral density graduated filter used to darken the brightly lit bridge.
