I think cable cars are brilliant, both as a means of travel and as a subject for photography. With graphic lines and bright colours they stand out vividly in contrast to the background scenery.
Here is one of many cable car photos I took during Liz and my trip up to the top of the Dachstein glacier during our holiday in Austria.
