The town of Caernarfon on the North Wales coast is arguably the epicentre of welsh culture in this part of the country.
Famous for its imposing castle, Caernarfon also boasts a promenade, on the seaward side of the town walls, leading to the recently developed Victoria Dock, complete with theatre, art gallery, restaurants and small harbour.
This view shows part of the town walls inbetween the castle and Victoria Dock, complete with imposing turret and arched pedestrian gateway, glowing in the late afternoon sun.
