A somewhat different view of the Arc de Triomphe this time.
Of course, everyone knows the iconic veiw of the Arc de Triomphe from the Champs Elysee, but once you get up close to the Arc you'll find it covered in detailed and intricate stone carvings, some, such as this one, depicting highly dramatic scenes.
Using a long lens allowed me to isolate this single pastiche from a whole wall full of carvings. I don't know who the sculptor was, but he certainly knew his stuff!
