I took this photo of Caernarfon Castle in early November 2016, during the time that the ceramic 'Remembrance Day' poppies were on display at the castle.
If you look carefully you can see the start of the poppy cascade at the top of the rearmost tower.
Of course, Liz and I also went inside the castle to see the poppies close to, and were deeply moved by the experience.
