Liz and I are blessed with many friends with whom we enjoy various activities. One such couple is John and Jacquie, who every now and then will come with us on a hike.
On this occasion we decided to climb the Sychnant Pass, which overlooks the North Wales coast between Penmaenmawr and Conway.
This is a great hike, with sweeping views out over the island of Anglesey and towards Llandudno. You even pass through an iron age fort as you head towards Conway.
Towards the end of the pass you end up overlooking the town of Conway, with its medieval castle and walls.
I'm afraid I got carried away with the photography from such a great angle, and we ended up hiking back down the pass in darkness.
