The North Wales coast isn't short of spectacular views, but you would have to go a long way to beat the scene from the top of the Sychnant Pass.
Overlooking the estuary of the river Conwy, you can see right round from Anglesey, past the Great Orme and Llandudno, down past Deganwy to the famous castle pictured here.
I was up here for a few hours one evening, shooting stills for one of my timelapse video sequences from which this still was culled.
I was looking for the perfect balance between the blue twilight sky and the artificial lights laid out below me, so having a few hundred still images to choose from was a definite bonus.
Photography aside though, I would have been quite happy just to sit there with a flask of coffee and watch the beauty unfold around me, such is the wonder of the North Wales coast.
