This is the classic view of Conway castle and the wharf reflected in the river Conwy estuary at high tide.
As usual when photographing lit buildings at night, there's about a 20 minute window of opportunity when the ambient light in the sky is nicely balanced by the floodlit buildings and it's possible to retain detail all over the frame without the lit buildings over exposing and blowing out, or the sky remaining a featureless black.
On this occasion the fairy lights strung out along the wharf, and the cloud details in the sky, just added to the pleasure of being there and of making an image.
