During our two day stopover in Chicago, the most amazing thing Liz and I saw was this house sized mirror sculpture nicknamed the 'Coffee Bean' for obvious reasons!
The Coffee Bean is located at the end of the Milleneum Park, just off Michigan Avenue, and is a magnet for locals and tourists (and of course, photographers!)
This photo shows the bean during the day, with the predictable hordes of onlookers in attendance. Normally I try and avoid taking obvious snapshots of places but in this case I wanted to show the people as well as the view, to give a sense of scale and a juxtaposition of the normal and the weird.
