I'm really blessed living in North Wales, within easy reach of the Clwydians Area of Natural Beauty.
That means I can drive for ten minutes, walk for another 5 minutes, and see sights like this.
Thus shot was taken from the path up Moel Famau, our local 'mountain' (hill really). The view is west facing out over the Vale of Clwyd and catches some amazing sunsets.
On this occasion the sun had just set, and with a gap on the western horizon its dying rays turned the underside of the clouds over my head a vivid red.
Absolutely stunning.
