Sometimes you have to travel halfway around the world to capture a dramatic photgraph, and sometimes you can catch something amazing from your front door.
This beautifully lit sky appeared fleetingly over my home in North Wales for just a couple of minutes as the light from the setting sun found a gap in the clouds and painted the underside of these stratocumulus clouds a vivid red.
A quick grab of the camera, a couple of test shots to dial in the correct exposure to presereve those reds, and Bob's your uncle.
Two minutes later and the show was over for another day.
