As my wife Liz and I sat in our storm battered car, parked up on Llandudno's West Shore on the North Wales coast, we were treated to a spectacular display of sunlight and cloud in the sky to the west.
I'm glad to say that I didn't even have to get out of the car to photograph this light show over Anglesey, which carried on until the sun finally set into the Irish sea. Well, not literally into the sea, but you know what I mean!
It was well worth the 45 minute drive in very inclement weather to witness such an awe inspiring example of natural light.
