A winter's evening outing to the North Wales coast for a bit of exercise and fresh air found my wife Liz and I strolling along the promenade at Colwyn Bay just as the last vestiges of twilight were dissolving from the western horizon.
An almost full moon had recently risen in the east, and was flooding the beach and headland with ghostly pale light, against which the streetlights along the promenade punctuated the darkness with pinpoints of orange luminance.
Just a lovely night time scene, and well worth pausing for a few seconds to capture as a photograph.
