Another dawn shot from the car park at Moel Famau. Believe me, I do venture further afield than the car park, and I'll bring you some images later to prove it!
This time there were no clouds, just a beautiful gradation of colour in the sky as the sun approached the eastern horizon.
The aircraft contrails were nicely placed to add a focal point to the photo, and without them there would not have been an interesting image.
There's a regular aeronautical rushhour over North Wales in the early morning, and instead of getting upset about the lines in the sky, I try and use them to enhance the composition of my photos.
By the way, the swathe of pine tress I used in this photo has now been harvested for pulp, and the view from this point has changed dramatically.
