I was enjoying a dawn hike up my local hill, Moel Famau in North Wales when I saw this decaying contrail pattern catching the pre-sunrise light.
I suppose a purist landscape photographer would shun such a scene, but I rather like contrails when they're an interesting shape and well lit.
Anyway, at this time in the morning where I live there's a veritable rush hour of aircraft going overhead so contrails are now almost part of the natural scenery. What do you think?
