A short walk up the flanks of the Great Orme, starting on the West Shore at Llandudno on the North Wales coast, gives you this lovely view looking back along the length of the estuary of the river Conwy.
I took this panoramic collage of the view on a sunny summer's evening in mid-July at high tide, with the beaches and sandbanks of the estuary covered over with the blue waters of the Irish Sea and the foothills of Snowdonia stretching along the far horizon.
What a beautiful part of the world, when it's not raining that is!
