During our two week holiday spent exploring the beautiful landscapes and coastlines of Devon and Cornwall my wife Liz and I spent a couple of days visiting the quaint seaside villages along the English Channel coast of South Cornwall.
One very picturesque, quiet and unspoilt little seaside spot that we found on our drive was Gorran Haven.
This tiny village comprised a compact harbour, just a few houses and the odd shop or two.
Liz and I really enjoyed strolling along the beach and harbour wall, watching a couple of families enjoying themselves in the shallow waters and photographing the charming old architecture.
This view shows a typical narrow street leading up from the shore into the centre of the village, lined with whitewashed stone cottages and festooned with bunting.
