This is the tiny seaside village of Port Quin on the Atlantic coast of North Cornwall.
Boasting just a couple of houses and a car park, Port Quin is about as quiet a coastal location in Cornwall that you're likely to find
Protected by a long inlet from the ravages of the Atlantic ocean, the rock strewn foreshore is a sensory delight, with the lovely juxtaposition of the sea, cliffs, rocks and old stone cottage set off against the sussuration of wavelets kissing the beach and the sweet smell of seaweed in the air.
My wife Liz and I enjoyed re-visiting Port Quin during our holiday spent exploring Devon and Cornwall.
We'd been here before several years ago, and looking back on the photos I took at the time, nothing's changed.
