During our week long stay in Croatia in the summer of 2019 my wife Liz and I set aside a day to explore the beautiful Adriatic coastline to the north of where we were based at Trogir.
Our drive took us through some stunning scenery and quiet, unspoilt little fishing villages such as Razanj.
We stopped here for about an hour to eat our picnic and to wander around the quayside.
This colourful tangle of plastic fishing net caught my eye as we were strolling along, and it was no effort to stop for a few seconds to compose and capture this image.
Sometimes it's the little details that we see that help to catch the ambiance of a place, and I'm glad to think that, as Croatia becomes more of a tourist destination, there's still a place for a more traditional lifestyle.
