When my wife Liz and I were invited to a friend's wedding in Croatia in the summer of 2019 we decided to make a holiday out of it, staying for a week near the lovely town of Trogir on the Adriatic coast.
From Trogir we were able to drive along quite a bit of Adriatic coastline, getting as far south as Makarska, from where we headed upwards into the mountains to explore the Biokovo Nature Park.
The road up into the mountains gave us some fantastic views back down to the coastline as we climbed higher, and I was able to stop for a minute in a convenient layby to capture this image looking out over the coast and seaside resort of Tucepi.

Filters - Polarising filter used to reduce glare and enhance colours.
