A midsummer sunrise on the Norfolk coast at Cromer had me getting up at 3am in order to be in place on the seafront ready for the fresh light of dawn to illuminate the iconic pier and seafront.
Funnily enough, I had the place to myself for this early morning photoshoot, and as the golden light of the low angled sun hit the top of the church tower and moved rapidly down to the sea I positioned myself on the end of the pier to capture the scene in this stitched panoramic collage of overlapping frames.
As the sun rose higher the light grew fierce, and it was time to head back to my holiday resort for a resumed sleep before a leisurely late breakfast.
What a great way to start the day!
