There are many beautiful places along the North Wales coast from where you can catch a sunset during the summer months, but one of my favourites, where I return to again and again, is the promenade at Deganwy on the banks of the river Conwy estuary.
This particular sunset photo, with its dramatic light and vivid colours, is a single frame selected from hundreds that I captured from this spot on an evening in July 2020 in order to create my Deganwy Sunset Timelapse #18 video.
That tall wooden rescue post gives a great focal point for the image, and if you watch the time lapse video you will see how I positioned it relative to the movement of the sun.
What an amazing place.
