The two week holiday that my wife Liz and I enjoyed in Devon and Cornwall in September 2019 took us all over the region, taking in the beautiful landscapes and coastlines.
Normally we like to go to the less popular, out of the way places, but one tourist venue we didn't want to miss was the seaside village of Clovelly on the North Devon coast.
Set up as a sort of living museum, Clovelly attracts coachloads of visitors to its very pretty steep cobbled streets and harbour, complete with the compulsory gift shops and cafés of course!
So we spent a good part of the day making our way down to the harbour, and then back up again, with plenty of pauses for me to take multiple photos, trying my best to include as few people as possible in the compositions.
I was particularly taken with this view of the harbour, and in this case I decided to include this single figure of a young woman looking out over the view, her bright pink coat and boots adding a welcome splash of vibrant colour to the composition.
