During our two week holiday in September 2019, spent exploring the beautiful countryside and coastlines of Devon and Cornwall, my wife Liz and I took a day to explore the magnificent Dartmoor National Park in South Devon.
We started off by driving from our holiday cottage near Bude down to Tavistock on the western edge of Dartmoor.
In need of a leg stretch after the drive, we parked up for half an hour in Tavistock town centre and took ourselves off for a walk along the banks of the lovely river Tavy, me with camera in hand of course!
I'm certainly glad I had my camera with me as the riverside walk was a visual treat with some delightful views to enjoy as we ambled along.
Such as this double weir and old stone bridge, just a stone's throw from the car park.
