The long beach at Dinas Dinlle is a rock strewn photographer's paradise, especially at low tide and at sunset, which is when Liz and I visited for a walk in the refeshing sea breeze.
We hadn't got too far before I was heading back to the car to collect camera bag and tripod as the rocks and pebbles started to reflect the golden glow of the low angled rays of the sun, setting over my shoulder.
By now the tide had turned and was slowly surrounding the stones, creating a lovely blue-red-gold colour contrast at my feet.
I quickly tried a few different compositions before the light went, with this one being the strongest, combining foreground rocks with the hazy, far distant mountains of the Llyn Peninsula, leading the viewers' eye upwards through the frame.
A few minutes later and the light had gone, along with most odf those lovely rocks, covered over by the tide to be washed clean for another day.
