Normally when I'm photographing the beautiful North Wales coast my camera is pointed seawards, taking in the marvellous views out over the beaches and coastal features.
But every now and then I'll turn my back on the obvious view and take in the ever changing dune systems that occur at various locations, where there's a prevailing onshore breeze.
One such spot is the West Shore at Llandudno, where grass covered sand dunes punctuated with those delightful bleached wooden slat fences abound.
Throw in some lovely sunlight, and a blue sky streaked with cirrus, and you have a real visual treat in terms of patterns, light and colour contrasts.
Well worth turning away from the obvious view for a few minutes to enjoy and photograph!
