Plastic, plastic everywhere....
My wife Liz and I were enjoying a bracing springtime walk along the Anglesey Coastal Path on the North Wales coast at Porth Dafarch, admiring the beautiful scenery and wildflowers just coming into bloom.
But it seems that no matter where you go in the countryside these days you'll come across plastic waste in one form or another.
These two shredded plastic bags were caught on a barbed wire fence, fluttering wildly in the blustery onshore breeze.
I rarely photograph rubbish, much preferring the beauty of the natural world, but in this case the contrast between the black and white bags, the blue sky and the stark barbed wire, together with the strong arrangement of angles and shapes, proved too interesting to miss, so I paused to take a couple of photos on our way past.
Then I thought a bit more and decided to shoot some real time video of the bags as well.
Not for any artistic purposes, but just in case someone might want to use the clip to make a point.

Comments - Shutter speed chosen to allow a slight blurring of the blowing plastic.
