Sitting on the balcony of our hotel resort room at Taurito on Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands, my wife Liz and I had a great view out over the Atlantic ocean, watching the great variety of boats, yachts, jetskis, speedboats and so on sail past.
So it was easy for me to set up my camera and long zoom lens on my tripod and photograph this yacht at anchor, just offshore from the hotel pool on the far side of Taurito bay.
I knew there was a reason I heaved that very heavy lens around in my carry on luggage!

Filters - Polarising filter used to reduce glare and enhance colours.

Image enhancements - Adobe Lightroom
Comments - Tripod, mirror lockup and remote relese used to prevent camera shake.
