There are few more beautiful places in the world than the North Wales coast, especially on those rare occasions when the sun actually shines!
And when the weather is behaving itself, my wife Liz and I will often take ourselves off to Conwy Morfa to walk along the sand and admire the views around the Conwy estuary.
This view is of the Great Orme, one of the two limestone headlands that form the topography of Llandudno, just across the water.
On this particular day a strong breeze was blowing cumulus clouds across the face of the sun, casting rapidly moving shadows over surface of the Orme, and also blowing steamers of sand along the beach.
A great opportunity to shoot a few hundred stills for a time lapse video sequence, so that's what I did, and you can see the resulting Great Orme time lapse video clip at the link.
This is one of the stills from that session, showing something of the play of sand and clouds over the scene.
All in all, a fantastic couple of hours on the beach.
