A lovely spring afternoon on the North Wales coast at Conwy Morfa, and my wife Liz and I are out strolling along the foreshore, taking in the sea air as the low angled sun kisses the landscape with golden light.
By my feet the jumble of stones, pebbles and sand catches the light beautifully, while across the waters of the Conwy estuary the limestone monolith of the Great Orme at Llandudno dominates the horizon.
This is a time for counting your blessings, being able to immerse oneself such loveliness.
But of course, it's also a time for photography, so with creaking knees I got as close as possible to the foreground stones to compose this image.
Three or four exposures later and we were on our way again, revelling in the sights, sounds and smells of the coast.
